Media Center >> picture quality

I have a Sony Ra710g 3.2 mhz, 512 ram, nvidia dvd decoder. Nvidia GeForce FX
5200. I installed the MCE 2005. I am having a problem with live TV. The
small screen picture on the monitor plays well, I can record TV and playback
TV, but when I go to full screen mode the picture and sound is very jerky.
Can you help me?

Media Center >> picture quality These specs should be good enough for full screen playback. Do you have
anti-virus software running that is checking your video directory? How
about anything else running in the system tray that might be eating up
processor time?

Media Center >> picture quality Also, make sure you get the MCE 2005 Update from Windows Update. I had this
issue, and the update cleared it up for me.

Media Center >> picture quality He's not referring to an update from 2004 to 2005, he's talking about a
"service pack" type update for (from) the original "gold" release of MCE
2005. You won't find it if you currently have 2004. But if you have
the original release of 2005, it should be offered via "Windows Update".
