I'm now using visual studio 2005 standard version.

By the setup project function, I create the .mis and .exe file. It runs successfully.

However, I can not get the desktop shortcut or all program shortcuts. I have to make shortcut from the installed folder.

Is there anyway to add shorts during the setup process automatically by visual studio 2005 Or should I choose to use another tool to make the setup project

Thank you!

Right click on your setup project in the Solution Explorer, and select "View -> File System".

In the File System view, select "User's Desktop" in the tree view on the left.

In the right-hand pane, right click and select "Create New Shortcut"

In the shortcut dialog ("Select Item in Project") double-click on "Application Folder". You should see something like "Primary Output from <project>". Make sure it's selected and click "OK".

Hope that helps.

Is this possible using just the command line tools csc.exe and mageui.exe for your deployment Thanks!
