I am developing an intra office messanger using c#.I want that my product setup will be secured by both product key and activation key.I want to make a trial version that required a produck key to run trial version but after 30 days it required activation key.So only that user can use my application

Product Key: Product key is same as window cd key

Activation Key: Activation Key can be get by my website.You should get activation key to run registered version of my product

Can any one tell me that how i can add these in deployment of my product or how can apply activation key on my product

We are using the XHEO Licensing product for activation purposes. We find it an excellent product to work with, and their service is also great. (And I'm not working for xheo ) Go to www.xheo.com and then go to licensing. We've bought also the source code (for around $1000) but for any regular procedures you can have their basic version for around 300 bucks i believe.

On the other hand you can also create you're own licensing scheme, but the truth, the amount of hours you'll put in it will not be worth the 300 bucks you spend on XHEO's product.

I went to their web site and looked at their product - their web site states that they are "compatible with .net 2.0". It says nothing about clickonce, which is part of .net 2.0. I emailed them to ask if they were compatible with ClickOnce and they said they had not tested it but that I was welcome to download the trial sofware and try it.

I don't know about you, but I think it's a stretch to advertise you are compatible with a technology that you have not even tested with and then to expect prospective customers to test your products for you.

Well I understand your point... but, the people of XHEO are really helpfull and their product is great. I would just download their trial version and try if it works for you. If yes, you will have a great product for a low price.

Probably you are their first client working with ClickOnce technology, and I'm sure they are happy to fix any bugs that you come up with. That's simply my experience with this company, they were very helpfull to me, because my situation was also not a normal one, and they helped me finding the right solution.

hi i need the activation key for the window and as i ave installed the window but its say that the activation key that u have installe is not genunine so i need the valide activation key

You bought the product Then you shoudl receive the code by mail. Otherwise you can get a trial key I believe.

i'm having the same problem right now- microsoft says my activation key is invalid and i might be a victim of software counterfeiting but they can't tell me how to find the key on my computer since i don't have the installation cd...does anyone have any ideas
