Gateway Pentium4 computer was**** upon boot-up. After virus scans, defraging, etc**** contiuned. I re-installed Windows XP with SP2. THis took care of the**** but now when I boot the computer a screen appears asking which version to use. How do I deinstall the old version or bypass this screen on boot-up
I'm sorry, but these forums are for programming questions only. I believe the menu you're seeing is created from a file called boot.ini. If you can't work it out from there, you need to find a new forum to ask these questions in, none of the forums in this group are suitable for consumer level questions.
