Hello,I have a solution where some header files are #included that are not part of the solution. When the compiler complains about a compiler error in one of those header files and I open that file by double clicking the line in the 'output' window, then the filename is changed to all lower case. When I make a change and save the file, then it is overwritten with the new name and the previous casing is lost.Is there some setting I can change so that this doesn't happen, or is this a bug Regards,Frederik

Yes, I'd call it a bug. The workaround is easy though, just add the header file to your project.

OK then, it's a bug. Is there any date set for a service pack

I see the same behavior when developer studio catches an exception in VS 2005. It brings up the file lowercased so you can't really modify the file without closing it and repoening it. It's a pain for cross platform development where case names need to be preserved. I can easily workaround it, it's just annoying that Visual Studio can't track something as simple as case.
