PocketPC >> Foreign Language Support on Pocket PCs
As far as I know, Windows Mobile 5.0 running on my Dell Axim x51v does
not support foreign language fonts, which is probably true for both the
version of Internet Explorer that runs on PPCs and Microsoft Office
Suite. Is there any application I can install that can give me such
support?

You can copy any truetype font to the ppc's \windows\fonts directory and
any program that supports fonts such as pword will use them if specified.
There are unicode problems, but, cross that when installing font's won't
help (such as chinese and hebrew support)

Thank you. Would you know where I can find truetype fonts to copy? I am
mainly intersted in Japanese and Arabic at the moment.

Try search on your full windows box (START: SERACH: Files or Folders: ALL
FILES AND FOLDERS put *.ttf in the search box) or google for +Arabic
+Japanese +TTF
I know about the :\WINDOWS\Fonts folder bit isn't searching so much more fun

Trying to find a 1st world answer to a 3rd world problem aint easy.
Trying to find a 3rd world answer to a 1st world problem isn't a walk in the
park either.
To mail spam is really hot but please reply to thread so all may benefit (or
