PocketPCDev >> SIP when HW keyboard
I have an application that rise the SIP and works correctly on for example
Qtek 2020 (MDA/XDA 2) (without HW keyboard) devices.
On a Qtek 9090 (MDA/XDA 3) (device with HW keyboard) the SIP isn't raised as
I would like it to do, with same program code. It seems as "someone" think
the SIP shouldn't be raised since device has a HW keyboard!?
Anyone know if other handling of raising SIP is required when the device has
a HW keyboard?

I don't know the answer to your specific question. But you can hide
and show the SIP explicitly if you want. I just used google () to look
up
hide sip
in this newsgroup and got 102 hits. I look only very briefly, but am
quite sure you'll find some useful info.

Hi Robert,
I have noticed this behavior on the emulator also. When I start using my
keyboard for input, SIP keyboard minimizes by itself and it won't come
up till the emulator is being restarted or soft resettled.
This seems to be done deliberately by the system developers.
