Word 2003 - Page numbering Sections

MS Word Doc >> Word 2003 - Page numbering Sections

I have searched and searched for the answer to my question and cannot find
it. It gets close but does not solve the problem.

I have a 800 page document.
Cover
History
Preface
Signature
Table of Contents
Then the numbering starts with ii, iii, iv, etc.. Then is goes to page 1-1,
1-2, etc. for section one, then 2-1, 2-2, etc. for section two, then 3-1,
3-2, etc. for section three. That is all fine..
Then I get to my appendixes: A-1, A-2, A-3, etcâ?¦ Problem is I have
Appendixes A-F and the only section I can get numbered right is the Appendix
A. I have inserted section breaks and tried to start numbering with B - will
not work. Every page has B-1 instead of B-1, B-2, etcâ?¦ What am I doing
wrong?

Please help if you can!
