customize >> Please stop taskbar from grouping
I open the windows/programs in the order I want them to be
on my taskbar, ie Outlook, then Excell, then IE, then
Explorer, etc. When I open a second excell window, my
first one jumps from where it is - second from the left -
all the way to the right. I want it to stay where the *&%
&$ I put it. If I wanted all of my excell windows together
I would have done so myself. I unchecked "group similar
taskbar buttons" and it still does it.
I have an XP machine at home that does not do this. How do
I make it stop and leave the damn buttons where I put them?
Windows XP396

Hi Mike,
In Excell, click on Tools >> Options and on the 'view' tab, put a check on 'Windows in taskbar'.
This should help.
