Is there any way I can have the "+" key beside the number pad perform like
the "Tab" key? Also can I switch it back to normal operation easily?
Thanks in advance.

You could try remapkey.exe. It comes with the Win2000
Resource Kit. AFAIK, it is freely downloadable from the
Microsoft site.

There are several key-remapping p[rograms available. One I use and like is
SharpKeys at
http://www.randyrants.com/sharpkeys/

I use it to disable the CapsLock and Insert keys, two keys I never want to
use, but have a propensity for hitting accidentally.
