Microsoft Project >> Recommendations for Project Management software, people, report,ti.

We are looking for a project management software, easy to use, and can be
webb supported as we will have may companies and people who will need to be
able to enter information about their projects, deliverables, reports, and
possibly time per person per project, report, etc. We must be able to pull
this info down and create reports to our client. Also this should have the
capability for growth should we need it during the 3-5 years we have this
contract.

Thanks everyone.

What is your platform - Windows, Mac, Linux?

Do you want web-based or traditional client-server?

I use:

Imendio - http://www.imendio.com/projects/planner/ - This runs on KDE or
Gnome and is very nice. It used to be called, Planner, but has changed
names.

Microsoft Project - I have 2000, but there's a new version -2003.

I also use PHPProjekt - an online PHP-based solution which has all the
features you need for free: http://www.phprojekt.com/

Though I don't use it, Primavera is supposed to be top of the line, but
fscking expensive: http://www.primavera.com/

Microsoft Project >> Recommendations for Project Management software, people, report,ti. Thank you Perfect Reign. We use Windows as our platform, and are looking for
web-based project management tools. Your information has been helpful. I
have downloaded the info and forwarded it to our folks who like most places,
only want results, they mainly will not use it, then it will fall to us
bottom dogs to tidy up the stuff. Fortunately, they do have someone
elsewhere who will try to pick their brains as what it is they want and will
need to get this work coordinated. Thankful for that!

Thanks again for your quick help!
